Adam B. Young
Academy Founder, Guitar Teacher
Owner / Founder
Hey Everybody, Adam Young here. I am the owner of the new and most awesome Milton Pace Music Academy. In addition to being a Master Jedi, I have studied Music for over 45 years. I have taught full time since 2001 and have been teaching guitar since I was in my teens. I estimate that I have taught close to 500 people in my life. I have recorded on many albums, performed all over the United States and in several countries.
For me teaching kids music is my calling. I love to see a young one play their first few notes correctly and the smile that overcomes their face. I love to watch them grow and achieve in all aspects of their lives. My specialty is kids ages 5-15, but teach all levels and ages.
Some of the most meaningful moments in my life come from watching my students grow into adults. Many of them have achieved significant professions including full time jobs in the entertainment industry, a bunch of Music Majors, several lawyers, a few doctors, and most importantly: all of them have music permanently in their lives.
It has been my honor and joy to have assisted them in these achievements. I am very passionate about it, and there is no sign of slowing anytime.
I perform regularly, I record, I write, and I teach. That is my professional world. I will never take it for granted. I am truly a grateful man.

Mr. Chandler Brown
DRUM / PERCUSSION TEACHER
Hey fellas my name is Chandler Brown! If it wasn’t obvious already, I am a HUGE nerd for drums. The hair should give away that I am a rock kind of guy! I grew up listening to lots of old rock and hits from past generations. In fact, a big idol of mine is John Bonham from Led Zepplin and I've based a lot of my drumming techniques off of him. Modern day drummers like Brooks Wackerman, Mike Portnoy, and Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan have all been huge inspirations to me, and they continue to shape my drumming style to this very day. So if you were wondering how I play, there you go!
A little about me as an individual; I started playing drums at the age of ten. My parents and I took a trip to guitar center to buy a birthday gift for a family friend. I wandered throughout the store finally landing at the drum section which captured my heart instantly. From there I asked to sit down on a kit (which I was given a hard "no" from two employees, until finally the third I asked let me play on an electric kit. I sat down and played a simple four-four beat and was told that I had a knack for the drums which since has set fire to my musical heart. From there I got involved with every band I could get into from middle and high school jazz band, to random garage bands and church groups. Now at the age of twenty years old I have ten strong years of drumming and musical experience under my belt, and I’m so excited to share my knowledge with anyone willing to learn!
Please consider taking a drum lessons with me at the Milton Pace Music Academy. I promise you it’s an instrument that you'll love just as much as I do. With a little time and a lot of hard work, I'll make sure to turn you and / or your kid into a killer drummer!
I'll see ya behind the drums!
